How we make money

AutoFocus Australia is funded by advertising. When advertising is switched on, you will see display ads on the site, and over time we may run clearly labelled sponsored or partner content. That is what keeps the site free to read and independent of dealers and manufacturers.

The line we will not cross

Our verdicts are never for sale. No dealer or manufacturer pays for a review, a rating or a recommendation, and no advertiser gets to change what we say about a car. The commercial side of the site and the editorial side are kept separate on purpose.

Anything paid is labelled

If a piece of content is ever sponsored or produced in partnership with a brand, it will be clearly marked as such, so you can always tell the difference between our independent reviews and anything commercial. Advertising is advertising; reviews are reviews.
