The Seltos is Kia's popular small SUV, a high riding five seater that's easy to park yet roomy inside, with a big touchscreen and Kia's long seven year warranty. The 2026 model wears a bolder face and offers a choice of two engines: an economical petrol front driver for everyday running, or a punchier turbo with all wheel drive for more pace and wet weather grip. It runs from the value S through Sport and Sport+ to the dressy GT-Line. Note that wireless phone mirroring with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay is only available on the base S grade, so don't be surprised if you have to plug your phone in for the higher grades.

Drive-away · NSWThe value entry, a lot of small SUV for the money.
The AutoFocus Verdict
The S is the honest entry, cheap without feeling stripped out. It keeps the core safety kit, so what you really give up over the Sport is polish: cloth seats, manual air con and the smaller 8-inch screen. It is also the only Seltos with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, since every grade above it reverts to a cable, which is a genuinely odd quirk. Step up to the Sport only if the bigger screens and climate control matter to you.
The value sweet spot, with the bigger screens.
Our pick: everyday safety and convenience, best with the turbo AWD.
The flagship, at its plushest.
