The Corolla sedan is the four door version of the Corolla hatch, for buyers who want a proper boot and a more formal look without giving up the hatch's low running costs. The bigger boot makes it the more practical choice for families and rideshare work. It comes in two well equipped hybrid grades, Ascent Sport and SX.

The Ascent Sport sedan got a big upgrade for late 2025. It now comes with the larger digital driver's display and wireless Android Auto as standard, features that used to be limited to dearer grades. With sat nav, smart entry and the core safety suite already aboard, the only real gaps versus the SX are parking sensors and rear cross traffic alert. It's a lot of sedan for the money.
