The BRZ is a pure, lightweight sports car, increasingly rare now that most performance cars are heavy and complex. It's rear wheel drive, the only Subaru without all wheel drive, and built around a low set boxer engine for great balance and a low centre of gravity. It's less about big power figures than feel, with a slick manual, sharp steering and a chassis that rewards on a winding road or a track day.
